What do the Hotel Sacher in Vienna, Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam, Krupp’s Villa Hügel in Essen, the Cologne Oval Offices and the Anna Amalia Library in Weimar have in common? All these buildings are illuminated and “switched on” by a mid-sized company whose roots lie in the German “Sauerland” region: the Berker GmbH & Co KG.
For more than 90 years, this tradition-conscious company has been producing switches and systems that have stood the test of time – and have therefore been acknowledged with many prestigious design awards (IF, red dot).
Manuela Rhode supports the renowned switch maker with its standard media activities and PR work. For this purpose, topic- and trade related contacts are systematically built up in the fields of architecture, design and lifestyle media. Composing press releases and exclusive reports as well as the generation and placement of themes are part of the ongoing PR assistance. Whenever the trade and business press needs further background information, we prepare interviews, statements and basic themes. At the international Light & Building trade fair, the focus will be on product PR as well as attending to the journalists who visit the trade booth.
The PR launches both for the Berker 1930, a premium switch made of Rosenthal porcelain, and the Berker by Swarovski Collection were widely covered in opinion-leading architecture, home design and lifestyle magazines.
